Stephanie Heflin, FNP

Hello! My name is Stephanie Heflin, and I am a new family nurse practitioner. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa Bay. I have been a bedside nurse for 16 years, and before that, I worked as a CNA. I have a wide range of experiences in medical-surgical environments within hospital settings, including telemetry training and working bedside after cardiac procedures. I have worked in long-term care, hospice care, and home health care. I have also worked with patients in dementia units.

Nursing is my passion. I have been involved with healthcare for as long as I can remember. It has brought me so much joy and experience throughout the years.

I have a 6-year-old son who is currently in kindergarten. I reside in Ocala with my significant other and my son. We have two pets, a cat and a yellow Labrador puppy. It gets busy around the house. One of our favorite things to do is to go to the beach. I love the water. I am looking forward to coming on board and starting this new journey in my career.
