Samantha Lafuente, DNP is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with expertise in both Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Psychiatric-Mental Health. With credentials as an AGACNP-BC and a PMHNP-BC, she brings a unique, holistic perspective to patient care, recognizing the profound interconnection between physical and mental health. This dual specialization allows Samantha to provide integrated, comprehensive, and patient-centered care for individuals and families across various clinical settings.
Samantha’s clinical focus is on diagnosing and treating complex acute, chronic, and critical illnesses in adult and geriatric populations, while also managing a broad spectrum of psychiatric and mental health conditions. She is skilled in conducting thorough health assessments, developing multifaceted treatment plans, prescribing medication, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes and prevent future complications.
Samantha holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Central Florida and a Post-Master’s Certification from University of Miami. She is committed to advocating for improved access to quality healthcare and advancing the role of the dually certified NP through leadership, education, and evidence-based practice.
