Kayla Salafrio, APRN

Kayla is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a strong clinical foundation developed during her time as an RN in vascular, thoracic, and trauma intensive care units. She also gained valuable experience in home health care serving patients across Gainesville and surrounding rural communities. This exposure developed a deep appreciation for delivering care in underserved populations.

As an APRN, she has spent the past 3.5 years specializing in cardiac and thoracic surgery, managing complex patients across the perioperative continuum. She is passionate about providing high-quality, preventative care, particularly for individuals who may otherwise face barriers to consistent follow-up.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, staying active, and traveling with her husband and daughter.
