Mobile Medical is proud to highlight its collaboration with Michael A. Edwards, DO, a board-certified family physician, clinical educator, and respected healthcare leader based in Jacksonville, Florida.
With nearly 20 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Edwards brings a strong background in family medicine, physician leadership, quality improvement, and medical education. He serves as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Director of Clinical Rotations at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, and also holds a faculty role at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Edwards has held several influential leadership positions throughout his career, including Chief Medical Officer at Coastal Family Medicine and Chief of Staff at Orange Park Medical Center. His experience spans patient care, physician development, healthcare operations, and system-wide clinical excellence.
At Mobile Medical, Dr. Edwards supports innovative, community-based care delivery and helps advance access to high-quality medical services. His involvement reflects Mobile Medical’s ongoing commitment to bringing patient-centered care directly to the communities and individuals who need it most.
In addition to his academic and clinical work, Dr. Edwards serves with the National Disaster Medical System (Florida DMAT-4) and remains active in research, medical education, and community care.
