Rochelle Hastings, MS, PA-C
Rochelle knew she wanted to help people at a young age and has been working in the medical field as a sports medicine volunteer since her freshman year in high school. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine from UNC Chapel Hill which was immediately followed with a Master’s in Kinesiology from IU Bloomington. She began her professional career in 1997 working with university sports teams while also teaching in the sports medicine programs. She eventually pursued her Doctorate and completed an ABD in Exercise and Sport Science before having a family and deciding to pursue a fourth degree as a Physician Assistant from Barry University in 2012. Upon graduation she worked briefly in urgent care before settling in orthopaedics. She gained experience in general orthopaedics with knees and hips as well as specialties including spine and upper extremity. She moved to mobile practice in 2020 and has enjoyed bringing pain relief and increased mobility to her patients.
She moved to Florida in 2005 where she has lived with her husband Chris and two children, Haven and Chris Jr. She enjoys watching her husband and kids play sports, biking the Pinellas Trail and boating the intracoastal.
